How your Americas Cup sail bag is made:
When cutting a bag from recycled sailcloth the best part of the sail is carefully selected for the size of the bag we are cutting. We try and include as many of the original features of the sail as possible.

The sail is washed and dried removing dirt and salt water marks from it's previous life.

Personalisation is applied in 1 of 3 ways depending on which bag you choose, a heat transfer process, stitching or self adhesive stickers. This process is done before the bag is constructed so a flat print area can be achieved.

Hardware such as zips, poppers, eyelets and turn buttons are added. These elements make up the bags closures systems when the bags is finished.

The bag is then sewn together using an industrial sewing machine. Seams are checked, and the bag is turned through final additions before completion.
